32Red – an online operator, based in Great Britain has announced that it bought the Roxy Palace online casino. The deal is worth £8.4 million. 32Red would pay £2 million in cash and issue 10 million new shares.

Roxy Palace has been one of the most popular online casinos since it;s opening in 2002. It offers over 500 casino games that include blackjack, roulette, video poker and slots among others. The casino operates on Microgaming platform and hosts more that 230,000 gamers.

Roxy Palace reports net revenue of £10.1 million in 2014 and gross profit of £3.4 million.

32Red will purchase Eucalyptus Investment’s issued shared capital which will male 32Red the owner of Roxy Palace's intellectual property rights, customer database, etc.

Ed Ware, Chief Executive Officer of 32Red, said that they are delighted with the purchase and believe that it would benefit their new and existing shareholders. He also said that the deal will let his company widen it's presence in regulated markets.

The integration is expected to go fast and smooth as both the 32Red and Roxy Palace operate on Microgaming's platforms.

32Red also announced that it would release it's trading update for the first half of this year in mid summer. In 2014, the company announced revenue of £32.1 million.
