Don Johnson, the man that is called by many "beast of blackjack" has done it again! He entered the Tropicana Casino and Resort in Atlantic City, played blackjack and won $2million.

Johnson himself disclosed details of his win and Tropicana CEO Tony Rodio confirmed the story to the press.

This is not the first time Johnson enjoyed a streak of good luck at the blackjack tables. He first obtained fame as a blackjack player when he took three separate Atlantic City casinos for $15.1 million playing nothing but blackjack. He did so between December of last year and this passing April.

$5.8 million of the $15.1 million he won were won during a 12 hour blackjack playing spree at the Tropicana.

Johnson returned to the Tropicana in this October and took another $2 million playing at Tropicana Casino high stakes blackjack tables. Johnson said of his visit "I went back in and did very well."

During this month another blackjack player took close to $1 million playing at the same blackjack tables but the player request to stay anonymous so the casino refused to disclose their name.

Johnson's big wins go a long way in explaining the 57% decline in revenues from table games at the Tropicana, which is not so great for Tropicana that prides itself on its offering of high stakes blackjack and plans to continue to offer high stakes blackjack even at the risk of great losses to the casino.
