Will Enter New Jersey Poker Market 13.06.2013

Blackjack News looks set to enter an entirely new market as an attorney has said that the company will go ahead with licensing in Nevada to run poker sites with Boyd Gaming Corporation and MGM Resorts International. The company, which is based in Gibraltar, has been waiting for approval since it applied for the license a year ago.

Only last month, the CEO of Norbert Teufelberger said that would choose to focus on New Jersey and therefore not operate in Nevada. New Jersey enforced new gambling years at the beginning of the year.

Frank Schreck, the Las Vegas attorney representing Bwin.Party, has now made it clear that the company definitely has Nevada in its sights even if New Jersey will be targeted first.

The plans for the company are hoped to improve a waning performance in profits for 2012 and 2013, but Teufelberger is confident that the plans will turn it all around. By working with Boyd Gaming, he has said that he expects to share New Jersey’s potention onling gambling market with Caesars Entertainment Corp (the company which owns four of the twelve casinos which attract tourists to Atlantic City every year).

Now only time can tell how the project will do for the company, but hopes are high. The proximity of New Jersey to New York and the existence of mobile gaming are two factors which could greatly increase the company’s chances of success. This is due to the greatly increased number of people who can be targeted as customers.
