Presque Isle Downs & Casino in Erie, Pennsylvania has shown a decline in revenues in blackjack games and casino table games in general due to a massive win by a local man who won a total of $568,290 at the casino blackjack tables.

The casino is refusing to release the man’s name or exact age. All they will say is that the man lives in Erie, PA and is in his 20’s. It is possible that the man wishes to maintain anonymity and asked for the casino’s discretion.

The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) reported that Presque Isle Downs & Casino was one of only four Pennsylvania-based casinos that showed a decline in revenues in October 2011 when compared to their performance in October 2010.

According to the PGCB overall revenues from table games in Pennsylvania’s casinos showed a 30 percent increase when compared to table games revenue from October 2010.

The two casinos that showed the highest increase in revenues from table games were Sands Casino Resort Bethlehem, with a 94 percent increase and Parx Casino in Bensalem, with a 74 percent increase in table games revenues.

Richard McGarvey, a spokesperson for the PGCB explained the meteoric rise in revenues that Sands and Parx casinos experienced by the fact that they both increased the number of tables they offered players. Sands expanded from 89 to 129 different table games and Parx expanded from 57 to 183 different table games.
