A small city in Idaho will host a class for the new generation of blackjack dealers.

Twin Falls is probably the only city that gives you an opportunity to study dealing in college.

That's right - the College of Southern Idaho actually hosts Cactus Pete’s Blackjack Dealers School.

Lauren Walker - an experienced casino employee that has worked in a numerous amount of gambling facilities will teach the students that are seriously into becoming professional casino dealers.

The course costs only $75 and carries a very deep introduction to the methods and structure of casino industry.

“You’d be surprised at how much eye-hand coordination is involved,” said Valerie Stewart, vice-president and assistant general manager of Cactus Pete’s Resort Casino, “You can learn the game, and learn how to deal it in four weeks.” She added.

Of course, when there is a class that gives not only the basic dealing knowledge, but seriously prepares people especially for this work, the casino runners will be happy to hire the graduates.

The students have to pass a very serious exam - they go through a test at a blackjack table and then audition for watching casino bosses.

“It’s one thing to do it in a classroom. We don’t just turn ‘em and burn ‘em” says Stewart.

The fact is - everyone who has attended the class were hired after, and a guarantee like this is worth $75.
