New Blackjack App: Blackjack Strategizer 13.01.2013

Blackjack News

For those who have always wanted to learn how to play blackjack but were too intimidated to do it on their own, bpm apps has released a new app for the iPhone and iPad that will teach you all about basic blackjack strategy. This app, Blackjack Strategizer, will have you ready for a game in no time at all.

The app functions mostly like a quiz and teaches you whether you should stay, hit, split or double down. The screen is designed to mimic a blackjack table and players will see the two cards they were dealt plus the dealer’s face up card. Based on what is shown, the player needs to decide what the correct move is according to basic blackjack strategy charts. If the player chooses the wrong move the screen will turn red and display the move that should have been made. Later, players can view their play history and study the incorrect moves that were made.

In addition, the app has been designed to give players who are heading to Las Vegas, Atlantic City or Europe an accurate tutorial by allowing players to switch between the three modes since rules differ. This app is a great way to keep skills sharp and once players feel that they have mastered the Regular mode, they can switch to Expert mode which deals more difficult hands.

Those who want to download the app should note that this is not an app that allows players to play hands of blackjack. Instead it is for learning and training to be a better blackjack player by following tried and tested strategies.
